Precautions after bonding brackets

1. 3-5 days after the brackets are adhered to the teeth, it is normal for the teeth to experience swelling, pain, slight loosening, discomfort in the lip and buccal mucosa corresponding to the brackets, and even ulcers. You can go back to the hospital for treatment.

2. If the bracket is loose, it will usually be hung on the arch wire. If it does not affect speech, eating, etc., you can come to the follow-up time; if it falls in the mouth, please take it out and save it, and make an appointment for treatment as soon as possible.

Diet taboos

Do not eat hard, chunky, thick foods directly, foods with shells, such as nuts, seafood (crabs)

Crab, crayfish); fruits with pits, such as apples, pears, peaches, etc. should be cut into pieces and eaten: with bones

Wearing DTC orthodontic self-locking brackets can bite hard bones and eat crabs.

Food (chicken legs, duck necks, chicken wings, spare ribs, etc.) should be avoided during correction.

Don't eat candy and chocolate, and try not to eat sticky foods such as toffee, marshmallow, glutinous rice cake, and zongzi. Also, don't eat fast.

The ligature ring on the outside of the ceramic bracket is easy to stain, do not drink colored beverages. Do not drink carbonated beverages during treatment.
